Early on, the SADC got involved with youth by taking part in entrepreneurship outreach initiatives. For over a decade, we coordinated the youth entrepreneurship summer camps. The SADC is also active in offering training opportunities to business owners.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”grid” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

DGI and DARE the Haut<\/h3>\n

The D\u00e9marche globale int\u00e9gr\u00e9e (DGI) of the Haut-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois, or comprehensive and integrated approach, is a concerted effort between different organizations operating in the region with a common goal to improve the population\u2019s quality of life.<\/p>\n

The DGI gave birth to DARE the Haut<\/strong>, a strategy aiming to reinforce the sense of belonging while attracting people and improving the quality of life in the Haut-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”925″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

CIEC<\/b><\/h3>\n

Formerly known as Coop\u00e9rative jeunesse de service, the Coop\u00e9rative d\u2019initiation \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat collectif (or collective entrepreneurship learning coop) is an initiative led by the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi (CJE). The SADC is involved in this project as a member of the local committee. Through the CIEC, young people aged 12 to 17 years old can explore collective entrepreneurship by creating a coop for the summer season. The Cit\u00e9-\u00e9cole\u2019s Follow-up Committee<\/h3>\n

The Comit\u00e9 de suivi Cit\u00e9-\u00e9cole supports the core mission of the Cit\u00e9-\u00e9cole initiative by maintaining the Polyvalente Louis-Saint-Laurent\u2019s relationship with the community. The follow-up committee occasionally organizes events held at the high school to raise teacher awareness about life in the Haut-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois and reinforce the student\u2019s sense of belonging.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”926″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” qode_css_animation=”” link=”https:\/\/louisstlaurent.cshc.qc.ca\/”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Place aux jeunes (Make Way for YOUth)<\/strong><\/b><\/h3>\n

The SADC has been a partner of Make Way for YOUth since its inception in the Haut-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois. As a member of the local committee, the SADC collaborates in organizing exploratory weekends. A Happy Hour event themed on entrepreneurial pride is organized every year in collaboration with Make Way for YOUth. Services Continuum and Basic Landmarks (carnet de rep\u00e8res)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The SADC collaborates with the communication committee of the services continuum<\/a> (Continuum de services du Haut-Saint-Fran\u00e7ois). The continuum\u2019s goal is to coach people on their journey towards integration.
